Who We Are

AirStatus (airstatus.live) is an independent real-time airspace disruption monitoring service. We translate raw aviation data — ground stops, ground delay programs, ATC outages, and NOTAM advisories — into plain English for passengers and aviation enthusiasts.

For the purposes of data protection law, AirStatus is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us at hello@airstatus.live.

What Data We Collect

AirStatus does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the service. The core function of the site — checking airport status — is entirely anonymous.

We collect the following categories of data automatically when you visit the site:

  • Pages you visit and how long you spend on each page
  • Your approximate geographic location (country and city level — we do not collect precise location)
  • The type of device, operating system, and browser you use
  • How you arrived at our site (search engine, direct link, referral)
  • Your anonymised IP address

If you use our contact form, we collect the email address and message content you provide in order to respond to your enquiry.
